‘Wonderful’ – BBC Radio 6 Music

Pushing creative boundaries, inviting global audiences into transformative, heartfelt musical experiences

“Intriguing, gorgeous.” – ★★★★ The Guardian

A Black Country singer-songwriter living between the UK and Japan, celebrated for his honesty and warmth, Dan’s recent projects (Voices From The Cones, The Glass Age) have drawn national attention in the Folk Charts, a FATEA Innovation Award nomination, and a feature on Folk On Foot. His new album Only Love explores empathy, renewal and connection — songs that resonate deeply with audiences.

These albums delved into the tensions between human connection and modern technology, as well as the rich heritage of glassmaking communities. His resulting immersive live show, A Night Of Glass, blends song and storytelling.

In 2026, Dan releases and tours with Only Love – a collection reflecting on human connection, resilience, and fatherhood.

Dan tours solo, and duo with New York’s Grammy-nominated Max ZT  (House of Waters), blending spoken word with hammered dulcimer on Ten Steps; with Swedish multi-instrumentalist Gustaf Ljunggren, co-producer of The Glass Age; and with LBGTQ+ poet/beatboxer Jasmine Gardosi.
