Saturday 23rd July, iconic songwriter of hits such as Fox On The Run and Haha Said The Clown Tony Hazzard, plays the John Peel Centre, Stowmarket. Tony’s solo gigs have an intimate, club-like atmosphere. He brings acoustic guitar, mandolin and ukulele, interspersing recent songs and hits from his extraordinary back catalogue with a series of winning anecdotes harvested from half a century at the top of the music industry.
Joining Tony is special guest young George Howarth. He does a version of Billy Bragg’s New England – just him and an electric. Close your eyes and the guitar could be Billy.
