You will write new songs and there will be time to perform and get feedback on existing songs, to work on new ideas and to have one to one sessions with Reg.
Who’s it For?
Songwriters and musicians of all levels of experience. The group size will be kept small for an immersive weekend of writing and performance.
“It was refreshing to be told, “If you want to write songs, then you’re a songwriter”. It’s easy to forget that sometimes.” Participant
The Team
Reg Meuross is a true modern day troubadour – commenting on life as he sees it, with some of the most beautifully disarming songs and lyrics ever written. As FolkWords say, the songs of Reg Meuross are ‘the hinges upon which swing the doors of perceptive English folk ‘.
Laurie Shepherd is a singer songwriter based in the frosty North East of England, in Newcastle upon Tyne. Folk and Jazz tinged soul lie at the heart of her sound. Intricate harmonies and sweeping melodies lend the music an ethereal quality, while poetic lyrics take the listener on a moving journey into another world.
