Charlie plus one man symphony orchestra Julian Littman will be swapping wit as well as instruments to deliver the songs from new album Milk Roulette as well as some old favourites. You will experience their brilliant mix of wit, vulnerability and insightfulness into the human condition, as well as brilliant musicianship. Charlie and Julian are performing together as a duo on all the dates and will be joined by some brilliant special guests and choirs on some (scroll to the end all the dates and ticket links below)
This is Charlie’s most personal album to date and is her unique take on births, marriages & death.. with the songs covering IVF, how when we fall in love we are actually victims of pheromones, her father’s game of Milk Roulette, a protest song about downloading and a piano piece written by Charlie’s mother, aged just 6 years old and discovered 80 years later. She will explain the rules of Milk Roulette on the night (it’s easy to play, but not necessarily advisable).
