As the Ashes slip away in Perth all those early morning alarms and subsequent lack of sleep of the past few weeks seem a little daft. England thoroughly outplayed and sadly thoroughly beaten, why do we bother? I guess because test match cricket, especially against the Aussies, is the greatest sport on the planet.
Despite being down and out I’ll be back at midnight on Christmas Day for the Melbourne test, bring it on!!
