Jess Vincent is now living and recording in Bulgaria with her partner, the musician and producer Jozeph Chowles. Jess’s last release, Lions Den brought a brave new flavour, perhaps reflecting some of the colours and flavours of the people, stories and instruments in Jess’s new life there. This new sound takes Jess’s extraordinary talent in an exciting new direction without losing the trademark subtle arrangements on guitar, baritone uke and harmonium, and uniquely soaring vocal which have established her reputation as a highly original artist with a growing following in the alt folk/indie/Americana acoustic scene.
Jess is back in the UK for three dates in October, touring as a duo with Joe. They are releasing a new and limited edition EP ‘SHELTER’ which will only be available at these live gigs, so if you can’t go then send a friend.
Saturday 6th October at Kingskerswell Parish Church, Devon
Thursday 11th October at The Old Stables, Cricklade, Gloucestershire
Saturday 13th October on the Kenavon barge, Devizes Wharf, Wiltshire.
